The Building and Grounds Department is responsible for the maintenance and repair of Anderson County Government’s facilities, which includes the Anderson County Courthouse and the Jolly Building.  The department is also responsible for compliance with all plans and specifications for construction and remodeling projects as they pertain to Anderson County Government’s facilities.

In addition, the department leadership is responsible for establishing short and long-term maintenance priorities including the implementation of appropriate timetables, requisition and acquisition of materials and supplies, coordination of work crews and inspection of work in progress.

Please note that the department is not responsible construction or maintenance of any facilities associated with Anderson County Schools.
