Notice to Anderson County residents: The Wolf Valley Convenience Center will be partially closed on Friday, April 17th, for the replacement of one of the garbage compactors. The fourth compactor in line is being replaced with a brand new one and there will be limited access to the far end of the Convenience Center away from the entrance. The recycling compactor and the first two garbage compactors will be open, as well as the Open Top container for bulk items. The last two compactors and the area past them will be blocked-off for the installation, and there may be limited access to the shed for oil drop-off. The install will take from half a day to potentially all day.

The regular monthly meetings of the Anderson County Election Commission are held at 5:00 p.m. on the second Thursday of the month in Room 118A of the Anderson County Courthouse.
