Anderson County Government receives State and Federal grant funding and ensures compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964; 49 CFR, part 21 related statutes and regulations whereby no person in the Unites States or in Tennessee, shall on the basis of racer, color or national origin, be excluded from participation in, be denied benefit of, or be subjected to discrimination under any program or activity receiving Federal and/or Tennessee State Funding assistance (Civil Rights Act of 1964; T.C.A. 4-21-904).
