CLINTON—Anderson County Government offices will be closed for the Fourth of July Holiday on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, July 2 – 4.

The Blockhouse Valley Recycling Center and the Anderson County Animal Shelter, both located at 1480 Blockhouse Valley Road, also will be closed July 2 – 4. Staff will be caring for the shelter animals throughout the holiday period.

All county (trash) convenience centers will be closed ONLY on Saturday, July 4th.

The Anderson County Board of Commissioners is responsible for setting the county holiday schedule for each calendar year.
