Anderson County will host the 17th annual Memorial Day program on Monday, May 26th near the Veterans Memorial at the Anderson County Courthouse. The ceremony will begin at 10 a.m.

The program will include keynote remarks from Fred C. Mize III (U.S. Army, ret.). Anderson County Director of Veteran Services Scott Nation (U.S. Army, ret.), County Mayor Terry Frank, and State Representative Rick Scarbrough will also give remarks. The ceremony will also include a wreath laying and a 21-gun salute. The Oak Ridge High School Navy JROTC will present the Colors, and Molly Duggins will sing the National Anthem.

The Memorial Day ceremony is open to the public.
