Anderson County announces Labor Day holiday closures

CLINTON—Anderson County Government offices will be closed on Monday, Sept. 7^th for the Labor Day holiday.

The Blockhouse Valley Recycling Center and the Anderson County Animal Shelter, both located at 1480 Blockhouse Valley Road, also will be closed on Saturday, Sept. 5^th as well as Monday, Sept. 7^th. Staff will be caring for the shelter animals throughout the holiday weekend.

All county (trash) convenience centers will be closed ONLY on Monday, Sept. 7^th. Those facilities will be open regular hours on Saturday, Sept. 5^th.

The Anderson County Board of Commissioners is responsible for setting the county holiday schedule for each calendar year.
